WORKSHOPS & RETREATS
At the moment I am offering Feldenkrais Workshops and may come back soon to teaching Yoga Workshops.
While a weekly Awareness Through Movement (Feldenkrais) class is great - and the best way to build up a regular practice and to start to really feel the benefits - it can be a real treat to spend a morning, an afternoon, or maybe sometimes even a whole day, immersing yourself in a range of Feldenkrais practices. Workshops are usually designed with a particular theme in mind and I make sure to allow lots of time for sharing cups of tea, slices of cake and all of our reflections and questions. I keep learning from you all!

I’m so happy to be able to offer monthly Sunday morning Feldenkrais workshops. Our next workshop is on Sunday 18th January 10.30am - 1.30pm
I hope you’ll be able to join me whether you come to weekly classes or not, whether you’ve even tried out the Feldenkrais Method, or not. The workshops are for everyone and I always love it when there’s a mix of experience in the room.
This approach to becoming aware of ourselves in movement, is especially beneficial for anyone wanting to gently reconnect with sensation and movement, for reasons of chronic fatigue, pain, injury, neurological conditions, emotional trauma. That said, lots of people fall in love with the Feldenkrais method because they become more skilled and elegant in a range of activities including martial arts, surfing, dancing, singing, yoga, running, walking – I could go on.
The general theme of all the workshops will be - Enjoy Greater Freedom of Movement. In my weekly classes during February - March 2026, we are exploring the potential for more freedom and ease of movement in the pelvis, our central powerhouse for energy and movement. When we find more ease in our hips, for example, we can rise and return to the floor, to chairs so much more easily and gracefully, we find a different sense of ease and efficiency in walking, dancing - well in moving generally. This is a theme we will take more time to explore in our March workshop - as a way to find greater ease, freedom and grace in how we move and in how we experience ourselves more fully.
But we won't be practicing for 3 hours solid! The workshops are a way of sharing some practice but also having time to chat about how we experience Feldenkrais, to raise any questions and of course, share Diana's delicious cakes with a cup of tea.
Also, for now, these workshops are in-person only. I would be delighted, however, to share workshops via Zoom from my garden cabin if there’s enough interest. Do get in touch if you are interested and I’ll work it out.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you!
