WORKSHOPS & RETREATS
While a weekly yoga and/or feldenkrais class is great - and the best way to build up a regular practice and to start to really feel the benefits - it can be a real treat to spend a morning, an afternoon, or maybe sometimes even a whole day, immersing yourself in a range of yoga and feldenkrais practices - including asana (physical practice), pranayama (breathing), meditation and relaxation. Workshops and Retreats are usually designed with a particular theme in mind and I make sure to include written resources - chants, poetry and sometimes some philosophy to remind us of the ancient texts and origins of what we practice today. I always make sure to bring along a range of delicious snacks and hot drinks.

The Feldenkrais Method with Rebecca
Monthly Sunday Morning Workshops
Sunday 18th January - 10.30am – 1.30pm - The Old School Studio, Newlyn
£25 (includes teas, coffees and delicious cakes made by Diana)
I’m so happy to be able to offer monthly Sunday morning Feldenkrais workshops. Our next workshop is on Sunday 18th January 10.30am - 1.30pm
I hope you’ll be able to join me whether you come to weekly classes or not, whether you’ve even tried out the Feldenkrais Method, or not. The workshops are for everyone and I always love it when there’s a mix of experience in the room.
This approach to becoming aware of ourselves in movement, is especially beneficial for anyone wanting to gently reconnect with sensation and movement, for reasons of chronic fatigue, pain, injury, neurological conditions, emotional trauma. That said, lots of people fall in love with the Feldenkrais method because they become more skilled and elegant in a range of activities including martial arts, surfing, dancing, singing, yoga, running, walking – I could go on.
The general theme of all the workshops will be - Enjoy Greater Freedom of Movement. In my weekly classes during January and February 2026, we are exploring how we sense and move from our centres to our peripheries and vice versa. And this is a theme we will take more time to explore in our January workshop - as a way to find greater ease, freedom and grace in how we move and in how we experience ourselves more fully.
But we won't be practicing for 3 hours solid! The workshops are a way of sharing some practice but also having time to chat about how we experience Feldenkrais, to raise any questions and of course, share Diana's delicious cakes with a cup of tea.
Also, for now, these workshops are in-person only. I would be delighted, however, to share workshops via Zoom from my garden cabin if there’s enough interest. Do get in touch if you are interested and I’ll work it out.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you!
